Bands do go through personnel changes - take a look at Van Halen. Roth to Hagar, to that really lame guy from Extreme, and now back to Roth, and Michael Anthony got replaced on bass by Eddie's son Wolfgang. Can you imagine losing the spot to your band to some 15 year old named Wolfgang? Yikes. But I digress.
For us, it's also singers and bass players. Coincidence? Comparisons to Van Halen? Sure it's flattering, but hopefully not.
Chris Bouman Bass
Chris was our first bass player for our first show, and also knows trumpet, so you never know if the Toys will add a horn section - our version of the Tower of Power. Chris played with us at the very first Stick & Stein show way back in 1999.
Bonus Points: For future gigs, we now have Low Rider covered.
F
ederico SanMartin - bass
Federico replaced Chris when he moved up to Northern CA (or spontaneously combusted - you decide which story sounds better for a band) and was with us for the 2000, 2001, and 2002 shows. After that, Federico also spontaneously combusted or went to work for Warner Bros.
Bonus Points: Knew the words to La Bamba in English and Spanish.

Jeremy Padawer - vocals
Jeremy was our valiant attempt to hire a singer to make our power trio a little more. He sang briefly with us for the 2002 show.
Bonus Points: Only singer to bring his own music stand for the show until Richie brought one to the 2006 Holiday show.

Paul "Doesn't Eat" Fish vocals, guitar
Paul was one of the founding members of The Toys, and had previously left for a European Tour. After rejoining us for a brief time, Paul's headed back to Europe to storm coffeehouses and bars everywhere. Paul is part of The Petty Gripes, a new lean and mean trio/quartet.
Bonus Points: Co-wrote Dirty Girl with Ned, has a Rickenbacker that once belonged to Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles.
